In 2013, as VP of Sales at a prominent logistics company, Davide Trantino quickly recognized the demand in ready-for-retail bagged residential wood pellets in the European market.  His first task was to travel to Italy to meet with potential buyers to spark their interest in Canadian wood pellets in bagged format.  Also acting as a no-charge consultant and translator, he linked buyers and sellers together in an effort to handle to containerized logistics, allowing Davide to be the first freight forwarder to open a brand new export market into Europe from Eastern Canada.

 

Since then, Davide has been a pioneer and a leader in containerized wood pellet exports from both East & West Coast Canada and Eastern USA into Europe and Asia.  This is how CTC was born.
